The Blue Boar is one of Chipping Norton’s oldest inns, first licensed in 1683. Originally
a coaching inn of great character it still retains many of it’s old features including
the restaurant which

There are plenty of quieter areas in the pub for relaxing with the paper or a chat
with a friend. Food is very important at the Blue Boar and their head chef Shane
along with Sarah and their team produce some wonderful traditional meals.

was originally the barn and stables. Mike and Sarah have been your hosts for the
past 20 years, and will always give you a warm welcome and some witty chatter.
The Blue Boar is a busy pub with lots going on from quizzes on Thursday evenings
- the team are well known throughout the county and in the recent past have been
county champions - to Crib on a Monday night, and darts
on a Tuesday night. We also cater for sports fans with a big screen showing all the
major sporting events.
On weekends a live band can often be seen performing or occasionally a disco for
dance fans.
